Monica Williams Harrison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience impacting quality for individuals, families and organizations in the Early Childhood and Health/Mental Health field. Monica provides consulting services on integrating physical and behavioral health care, enhancing co-occurring mental health and substance use services and integrating specialty medical settings. She provides organizations and healthcare professionals with resources, tools, techniques, assessments, training, and technical assistance around evidence-based and/or best practices in integration. Her clinical and administrative experience has provided her with a unique professional history that’s spanned from providing direct clinical services to children and adults to managing and guiding a variety of health centers. Monica received her master’s degree from the Joint Master of Social Work Program which is a collaborating program between North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (a historically black university - HBCU) and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (predominately white institution - PWI). She is a member of the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (CFHA), National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and a NASW Board Director. When she is not out cultivating the path of integration you will find her spending time with her spouse and five sons.
