Brandy Gonzalez Bryant has been a registered nurse for the last 18 years, in the state of Colorado. Having worked in a broad array of nursing fields including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, correctional facilities, primary care and specialty clinics, she’s most recently been working with the Behavioral Health team at Kaiser Permanente. While nursing continues to be a wonderful career, Brandy has also had a long-time passion for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work. She helped facilitate and teach diversity classes and workshops over the years within Kaiser Permanente and at multiple higher education institutions as well. While involved with a community Race Roundtable, she continues to learn and develop skills to engage with others in some of the challenging work that comes with equity and diversity in the nation. Brandy is a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, who remains excited to continue the growth and development of both herself and those around her within the frame of diversity, equity, inclusion, mental and physical health.
