Dr. Victoria (Tori) Baker has served culturally diverse populations in teaching and practice throughout her career. She has taught nursing and public health, in the clinical, laboratory, classroom, and online arenas. She has consulted in teaching health equity. She has served on academic committees to increase diversity. She has taught and written about equity, culture, social justice and vulnerable populations. She has presented internationally about how to teach culture, policy, and social justice. She has practiced as a certified nurse-midwife, public health nurse, director of a university based midwifery practice, consultant, and representative of a non-governmental organization in Central America. Now semi-retired, she works part time as a consultant and teaches at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Global Public Health Nursing program.
