- Dr. Penni Watts is currently an Associate Professor and the director of simulation at the UAB School of Nursing for over 15 years. She is also the Assistant Director of IP curriculum at UAB. Her formal training in simulation was conducted at the Basic IMS and Advanced Simulation training course at the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston, Mass. She is currently Chair of the SSH CHSE-A Subcommittee and chair of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice Committee. Her expertise includes simulation and IP faculty development and , interprofessional curriculum and simulation development and implementation.
