Sherry Fuller has been a nurse since 1987. She is full time faculty in Loretto Heights School of Nursing. She has chaired the Rueckert Hartman College for Health Professions Interprofessional Education Committee Chair for 3 years (2016-2019). In addition to teaching nurse practitioners, she has overseen skills and simulation labs for undergraduate BSN nurses, nurse practitioners and interprofessional events with physical therapy, occupational therapy and pharmacy students. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing practice from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s of Science in Nursing with nurse practitioner focus from Regis University, Secondary Education Certification from Wayland Baptist University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Austin. Sherry is nationally certified as a nurse practitioner by AANP and has worked as an NP in a private pediatric office and a non-profit primary care practice. Her passion is designing activities that engage students to actively participate in their learning.
