Matt, began his nursing career in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) as one of five male nurses (out of 250 nurses). After establishing a solid foundation in the NICU, he found his way to the Pediatric ICU at CHCO. When the opportunity presented to move to the west coast, Matt accepted a position in the PICU at Oregon Health and Science University. Currently, he works at Randall Children’s Hospital in Portland, OR as a Pediatric Resource Nurse and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Specialist.
