Allison Boyrer is a Nurse Educator & Training Instructor at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Syracuse University and Master of Art in Physical Education from University of South Florida-Tampa. Allison was the first graduate of the Master of Science in Nursing -Veteran and Military Health program at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. She is currently a doctoral student studying towards her EdD in executive leadership and educational equity. Prior to working at CU as their coordinator of strategic partnership, Allison and her husband lived in Florida for 17 years, where they owned a holistic healthcare clinic. Prior to that, she worked in Labor & Delivery, Newborn nursery, Pediatrics, and an extended care center for children with medical complications, where she was a preceptor and mentor for many.
