Christine Beck is originally from Alabama, but has settled with her family in Denver, Colorado. She has been teaching since DCN and loves working with nursing students. Her nursing experience has been primarily Pediatric Emergency at Level One trauma centers, but also includes Adult Rehab, Adult PACU, Peds Pre and PostOp, and Peds Heme/Onc. Through her master’s work, she learned about the impact of childhood trauma on long-term mental and physical health. It has become her life’s work to educate those around her about this topic, and what we can do to combat it.
