Melissa McDonald is the Manager of Talent Optimization and Equity for UCHealth and is a resilient strategic leader with strong relationship building skills. Melissa has over ten years of experience in talent development and made her transition to UCHealth in 2017 and is responsible for succession planning, talent development, and performance management processes throughout all of UCHealth. Melissa collaborates with leadership across UCHealth to drive succession development conversations. The work Melissa advances in talent management also supports the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion where she also leads a Military Veteran committee for UCHealth. Melissa received her Bachelors in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and has a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regis University. Melissa is also a Human Capital Coach and was a COSHRM state inclusion captain for the state of Colorado in 2019. Over her career Melissa has assisted thousands of individuals achieve success in their career goals.
